Production Operative
We are looking for a new production team member. As a small crew, there are many different aspects of production that we are looking to address with this role. The most important thing for us is to find a candidate with the right attitude who will get along with our fairly familial production team. This is a fast-paced place of work where adaptability, teamwork, communication skills and a proactive attitude are key. While the ideal candidate portrayed below is clearly someone with significant experience in the industry, this position is open to all experience levels.
Duties include:

General assistance to Head Brewer from materials receipt to packaging.

All things wort production. Ensuring consistency and maximising efficiency.

Cellar and lab work: CIPs and general beer management from brew to pack.

Operation of centrifugal separator. (Alfa Laval Brew80).

Packaging: Canning (Microcan CL5 V3), cask and kegging operations.

Warehousing: Stock management, materials preparation (including driving our van), FLT operation.
Key Competencies and Experience:

At least 3 year’s previous experience in a commercial brewery.

Experience of lead role in packaging equipment operation.

Mechanically minded, excellent problem solving skills.

FLT trained. Driver's licence.

Physically fit. Capable of handling malt sacks, 30L and 50L kegs.
Benefits:

£24,000 to £32,000 p.a. dependant on experience.
